So many times have people come to me with a new business idea that will change the world. The sky is the limit and all we need to do is get started.
Why are there more “started projects” than “completed projects.”
Yes, there’s hard work from point A to B, but I think there’s more to it.
The euphoria of the idea is something you get at the beginning. While planning and dreaming and crafting, you get a sense of what could be, and that slight high of glimpsing to a possible future.
But that’s the problem. It’s like getting dessert before your dinner. You ruin your appetite to keep going.
So many of us, myself included (or most of all), pleasure ourselves with planning and dreaming, and less doing.
It’s more important to walk down the path instead of trying to map it all out beforehand.
